For nearly 50 years, residents on Liz’s Street in East Milton fought for traffic calming measures. Then, Liz spearheaded the effort that made it happen. As a community advocate, she navigates complex processes to deliver results. As Town Moderator, she will bring that persistence and problem-solving mindset to ensure local government serves everyone.

Town Meeting is where representatives from all over Milton gather to make important decisions. Liz will ensure the process is smooth, productive, and accessible. With her legal expertise, she will keep meetings procedurally sound and focused on honest debate—not gridlock. Every resident deserves efficient government, and Liz will ensure that.
Fresh, Visionary Leadership
The Town Moderator appoints members to key committees, including the Warrant Committee, which reviews and advises about Milton’s budget. The moderator also appoints members to the audit committee, zoning board of appeals, and the by-law review committee, to name a few. Liz will prioritize filling these committees with qualified members who bring transparency, professionalism, relevant expertise, and accountability. Liz will support these committees and ensure they meet regularly and create deliverables that will be shared town-wide.

She will create opportunities for residents to share input on key issues, such as through public surveys and community forums before major Town Meeting decisions.
